Project Medius is a landmark £50 million redevelopment project in Leicester city. The 4-acre plot now homes a 35,000 sq ft office as well as a 154 room Novotel hotel and a smaller Aparthotel offering 95 studio and one bedroom apartments. To reflect the development's mixed use the building’s façade boasts a variety of materials and textures.

Metclad Contracts worked with a range of high-quality manufacturers to create Project Medius’ façade including, Tyvek, Rockwool, Metsec and Kingfisher. The office’s façade was created using Shackerley ceramic tile panels to the ground floor and silver aluminium ACM A2 rainscreeen panels to the first. While the hotel area consisted of Shackerley ceramic tile panels in RN04 dark grey (Novotel hotel ) and travertine (Aparthotel).
