Managing Director

Before joining Metclad Contracts in 1999, Marvin worked as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor. His outstanding knowledge and experience has been instrumental in the company's growth. Marvin is tremendously proud to lead the team at Metclad Contracts.

 

With projects spanning a 25 year period, he finds it impossible to pick a favourite!

Claire Spencer
Finance Director

Prior to joining Metclad Contracts in 2010, Claire worked in the auditing department for an accountancy practice. This knowledge and experience has helped her introduce a number of streamlined processes, which have significantly improved efficiency.

 

Her favourite project is the unusual shaped Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre.

Tony Millichap
SHEQ Director

Since rejoining Metclad Contracts in 2015, Tony has played a central role introducing a number of new policies and initiatives. He’s proud of the team’s approach to developing Metclad Contracts and their commitment to the highest Health and Safety standards. Tony’s knowledge of the construction industry has been developed throughout an extensive career, 

including a broad range of management roles within a large manufacturing company.

 

His favourite project is the iconic Advanced Manufacturing Building at the University of Nottingham.

Ian Smith
Operations Director

Before joining Metclad Contracts in 2013, Ian worked throughout the construction industry as a specialist Contracts Manager. This wealth of experience has made Ian an invaluable member of the team. Ian’s proudest achievement whilst working at Metclad Contracts was when his project, Friars Walk in Newport, won the NFRC Award for Best Rainscreen Project. 

 

His favourite project to date is UNITE Parade Green, Oxford.

Andy Gannon
Andy Gannon
Director

Andy is responsible for leading Metclad’s technical department, with a focus on compliance, quality management, and ensuring our work meets the requirements of the CDM regulations.

Having started his career in 2003 as a draughtsman, Andy re-joined Metclad in 2015 and brings over two decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry.

He takes pride in making processes more efficient and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across the business.

Andy particularly enjoys working collaboratively within a team and has a passion for delivering complex high-rise projects.

Two standout schemes for him have been Greetham Street in Portsmouth and Alfreton Road in Nottingham.

Mark Smith
Director

Mark has spent his working life in the  façade envelope industry, working his way from a general labourer to running his own company.

 

Since joining Metclad he has worked through the various different roles within the contracts department and had the pleasure of working on many flagship projects with RG Group and Morgan Sindall. 

Mark doesn't have a favourite project as "I’m proud of all the projects we build"

Paul Cosford
Technical Manager

Since 1988, Paul has been a key member of the Metclad Contracts team. He is proud to have developed his knowledge and experience at Metclad Contracts and watch the company evolve. His deep understanding of the company has made him a well respected and valued member of the team.

His two favourite projects are the Advanced Manufacturing Building at the University of Nottingham and UTC at Silverstone.
