This exciting project aimed to create one of the UK’s first University Technical Colleges; supporting 14 to 19 year-old students aspiring to have careers in motorsports or those aiming explore new pathways at University. The building’s strong architectural identity has been inspired by the clean lines usually found in clinical spaces. Once again, Metclad Contracts is honoured to be part of a project helping to shape the UK’s engineering future. 

 

Metclad Contracts used Trimo’s Qbiss F panel system in alongside Sotech’s perforated aluminium flat sheet panels in RAL 9006 to create the building’s striking façade. This combination of textures not only changes the feel of the building but also the way light and people interact with it.
