The project:
Metclad revisited Beedles Lake Golf Club last month to commence work on the roof of the Greenkeeper’s shed on the course. The rooflights and sheets needed to be replaced to prevent any potential leaks/damage to the shed roof and machinery inside.
Our approach:
Given the size of the project – 500sqm – we arranged to have the works completed within one week, to minimise the interruptions for the Greenkeeper.
This meant precise planning from our design and install teams, ensuring that a full strip and re-sheet was achievable in the given timescale.
We used Euroclad 31/1000 profile sheets to match the original aesthetics of the shed in this single skin roof, with bespoke ridge flashings to match the Moorland Green plastisol finish.
The gutters and downpipes were replaced recently by Metclad, so they were kept and re-fixed to the new roof.
Results:
Our experienced teams worked extremely efficiently, and we were able to get the full roof done on time and in budget.
We’re happy to have another project signed off with Jelsons, who we’ve been working with for over 35 years now.
